Wushu
is the official name of “kung fu”. Literally it
means “martial art” and it is part of Chinese
culture. The Wushu-exercises increase the harmony between
body and mind. During the course both Northern and Southern
style will be taught. This is done by practicing various punches,
kicks, jumps, positions and balance exercises. Training these
exercises on a regular basis results in improvement of the
physical and mental condition, willpower and self-confidence.
Further, it is possible to learn handling various original
weapons, such as stick, spear and swords. Furthermore, time
will be spent on “free-fighting” and fitness training. |

of the unraveled movement techniques from the wushu, which are
applied in a flexible manner. The different exercises contribute
to an improvement of the ability to react and to an improvement
of the offensive and defensive techniques.
By a good coherence of movements the techniques can be applied
in various situations for attack as well as for defense. As
a result thereof the effectiveness and applicability are being
increased. |
